After Dark Originals has released the long talked about flick Mischief Night on DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet), Digital HD, and Video on Demand today and right now we have a pretty damned cool video salute to all the slashers who cut out their niche before it! Check it out!

Lionsgate and After Dark Films have made the film available via DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet), Digital HD, and VOD starting today Tuesday, May 20th, 2014. You can also order it through Amazon (below) and download it on iTunes.

Mischief Night, written and directed by Travis Baker, produced by Richard Tanne, and starring Brooke Anne Smith (MTV’S “Awkward”), Marc Valera (“Melrose Place”), Nikki Limo (Smiley), Matt Angel (My Super Psycho Sweet 16) and Malcolm McDowell (Rob Zombie’s Halloween) is a unique and subversive slasher that aims to turn the genre on its head. The premise: on the night before Halloween, a masked maniac attacks a pretty young babysitter, only in a strange turn of events, the babysitter and the maniac strike up a twisted romance. This is not to be confused with the Mischief Night that was released last year from Image.
