E3 2014: Lots of Blood Shed By the Devil's ThirdThus far Nintendo has been painting pretty pictures with its E3 offerings. Vibrant colors, spinning yarns, smashing brothers… but there is unseen by most… an underworld… a place that is just as real but not as brightly lit… a darkside! *insert spooky stinger here*

No, we’re not talking about a “Tales from the Darkside” video game (though that would fucking rule); instead we’re talking about the new game from Ninja Gaiden director Tomonobu Itagaki entitled Devil’s Third that is coming exclusively to Wii U. Yes, you read that right!

The game had gone into limbo after THQ shut its doors, but now developer Valhalla Games is ready to offer fans a first look trailer that you will see below. Nintendo “really understood my vision,” Itagaki told IGN in an earlier interview regarding why the choice to go with Nintendo instead of the two other gaming heavyweights, “so I felt I really had to work with them.

Make no mistake; Itagaki’s aforementioned vision is a dark and violent as they come. That’s exactly what the Wii U needs! Look for more on this one soon!
