Killer Klowns from Outer Space Ready to Take Over Your TV?

I really don’t remember a time when there wasn’t talk of a sequel to the Chiodo Brothers’ Killer Klowns from Outer Space. But let’s face it… it’s probably never going to happen. A TV show, however… well, that’s a different story altogether!

According to our own John Squires at iHorror, who sat down recently with Charles Chiodo, there is no sequel planned for 2016, thus debunking some nagging rumors. In the end MGM didn’t feel there’s enough fan interest to warrant funding a sequel so until they get moving or change their minds, we hopefuls are dead in the water.

Chiodo did go on to say that he and his brothers would be interested in turning Killer Klowns into a TV series, but there’s nothing official on that front either. If MGM doesn’t do anything with the franchise, the Chiodos are considering “making a totally original scary clown movie, which would have nothing to do with the film we all know and love.”
