Death Note Prequel Trailer Live!
Still waiting for release news on the Death Note movies here in the States? So are we … Now we’re closer to another Death Note movie we’ll have to wait for info on, the Hideo Nakata-helmed prequel L, which has been silent for a while, too (“Death Note Prequel Helmer Named!” – April 2007)
Those ever-vigilante boys at Twitch Film got word today that the official L site has been updated with the first official trailer for the prequel, which follows the early exploits of the titular detective, apparently a very memorable character in the Death Note movies. Since everything on said site is in Japanese, here’s a clue: Click on the first button on your left.
The prequel hits Japanese cinemas on February 9th, and I’m sure a DVD release of all three movies will follow shortly after.
