Black Devil Doll Burns Up Dallas!
If you haven’t heard of Black Devil Doll yet, the chances are you will soon. That is if the ovation the film received at last week’s Fear Fest 2 is any indication of what’s to come.
The lights dimmed at midnight Saturday evening, and a packed room including Robert Englund, Diamond Dallas Page, Tim Sullivan, et cetera, were treated to a Live From Oakland, California introduction from the doll himself, followed by a two-and-a-half-minute long exclusive clip. What did said clip contain? I really don’t think it can be accurately described. Let’s just say it pushed the boundaries of taste, decency, and all-out hilarity.
After months and months of hype we finally sampled the brainchild of director Jon Lewis, and the reaction couldn’t have been better. Within two minutes the house was torn down. The crowd’s shouting and laughter was at times deafening — and defining. A cult film was born that night, and this was one of the convention’s strangest moments. We wanted more, and more is coming soon.
Everyone in attendance that night left with a smile on their faces, right before they all went upstairs to jerk off.
Expect more from Black Devil Doll ASAP. Keep it locked right here and hold on tight.
