Maniac Cop 2 Blu-ray - Date and Specs RevealedBlue Underground has released the official details for the upcoming Blu-ray of Maniac Cop 2 (we’re still waiting on the skinny pertaining to Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence), and you can check out what to expect right here.

Blue Underground will release the flick as a Blu-ray/DVD combo on November 19th, with a new 4K high-definition transfer from the original negative supervised by cinematographer James Lemmo, in 16×9-enhanced 1.85:1 widescreen with DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio (plus the original Dolby Surround track), enhanced for D-Box motion-control systems.

This sequel to Maniac Cop pits Matt Cordell (Robert Z’dar), the crazed, murderous “Maniac Cop” of the first film (now horribly disfigured after a particularly brutal stay in prison), and Turkel (Leo Rossi), a serial killer who likes to murder strippers, against a frenzied NYPD detective, Sean McKinney (Robert Davi), who is just one step ahead of a nervous breakdown.
