Duo Joins The Hills Run Red
Shooting is underway in scenic Bulgaria on Dave Parker’s The Hills Run Red, which is now a production of Dark Castle Entertainment and Warner Premiere. Since cameras are rolling, it’s a good thing they have settled on a cast for the film, no?
THR reports that Sophie Monk (pictured, Click) and Tad Hilgenbrinck (Lost Boys: The Tribe, Amusement) have both signed on to star alongside William Sadler, Alex Wyndham and Janet Montgomery in The Hills Run Red. The story follows a film fanatic whose obsession with the titular slasher film leads him to the backwoods cabin where the movie was shot. They don’t realize until they get there just how realistic the film was … and that filming has never stopped.
Dave Parker was the man behind The Dead Hate the Living way back in the day. The Hills Run Red is his long-overdue return to our genre. It’s good to know the Dark Castle name will finally be associated with something I’m actually looking forward to! Keep it here for more very soon!
