First Pics from Freakdog!
As more news comes out regarding Shrooms (review) director Paddy Breathnach’s latest project, I can’t help but wonder why the film’s name got changed. Now that we have more of the plot details, the original title seems to fit a whole lot better.
But before we get to the plot, Film Fright Fest got in the first official pictures for Breathnach’s new horror feature Freakdog (AKA Red Mist). Not a whole lot going on in these pics, but I’ll take a half naked hottie any day! But where are the freak dogs or mists tinted red? Confusion!
Freakdog follows the unfortunate events involving a hospital janitor. After suffering an epileptic fit brought on by the hospital staff catching on to his “improper” use of a cell phone at a pub, he slips into a coma. But this bummer has an upside thanks to a strange drug cocktail being put into his system by a guilt ridden nurse. The brew allows the janitor to leave his body and possess anyone he pleases. Astral Projection Payback!
