Blair Witch Project’s Joshua Leonard Checks in at the Bates Motel
A&E’s “Bates Motel” reopens for business in March of next year, and a familiar face has just checked in for the show’s third season. Rejoice, Blair Witch Project fans, because Joshua Leonard has finally emerged from the woods!
TVLine reported the news today, revealing that Leonard will play James Finnigan, a community college psych professor whose pull towards Norma slowly chips away at his carefully constructed house of cards.
As the website notes, the gig represents a reunion between Leonard and “Bates Motel” star Vera Farmiga, who played husband and wife in 2011’s Higher Ground.
Leonard is the show’s fourth major Season 3 hire, following the casting of Kevin Rahm (“Mad Men”), Tracy Spiridakos (“Revolution”), and Ryan Hurst (“Sons of Anarchy”).
Check out a sneak preview of the upcoming season below, which should whet your appetite for the return of Norman Bates!
