Terrorized by a character come to life out of her latest graphic novel, a young artist struggles to overcome her psychosis before it destroys her in The Dark Stranger, a film from Moonstone Entertainment that just completed production and no doubt hopes to be heading our way soon.

Written and directed by Chris Trebilcock and produced by Glen Wood, Jay Firestone, and Paula Devonshire, The Dark Stranger stars Enrico Colantoni, Katie Findlay, and Stephen McHattie.

Synopsis:
Leah, a talented young artist, is recovering from a recent traumatic event and afraid to leave her own home. She begins drawing a dark graphic novel in which an ominous Dark Stranger pursues a lonely girl doll across a foreboding fairy tale landscape. Soon Leah begins to see The Dark Stranger in real life. At first she isn’t sure if she is completely losing her mind, or if the Stranger is a deadly supernatural force trying to destroy her. Piece by piece, The Dark Stranger tears apart her life, killing anyone who comes between her and the make believe world she has created.
