Cast Assembles to Get the Girl

Some more casting news has come for the new flick Get the Girl. Variety is reporting that Dear White People star Justin Dobies, Elizabeth Whitson (“Awkward”), and Noah Segan have signed on for the dark Get the Girl.

Eric England is directing from his own script, based on a story by Graham Denman.

Shooting is taking place in Los Angeles. Scout Taylor-Compton (pictured below), Adi Shankar, Jerry Purpdrank, and James Landry Hebert will also star.

EBF Production’s Eric B. Fleischman and Sean Tabibian’s new genre label Diablo Entertainment will produce with England and finance alongside exec producers Jamal and Fadi Saab.

Synopsis:
A wealthy young man is conned into staging a fake kidnapping in order to be a hero and win the affection of a girl — only to see one of the hired kidnappers accidentally killed.
