Black Devil Doll Updates Status of Series There Goes Da Neighba’hood
What up, tricks?!? The Black Devil Doll has some treats in store for you before you dig into your leftovers… an update on his NEW series “There Goes Da Neighba’hood.” Fight the power, and read on!
In case you are in the dark, the Black Devil Doll, Mubia Abul-Jama, is starring in a sitcom-like television series called “There Goes Da Neighba’hood” alongside Trent Haaga, the newly cast Elissa Dowling (replacing the previously announced Heidi Honeycutt), Evan Sokol, and Richard Christy.
That’s right… get ready for LOADS of raunchy and hysterical Black Devil Doll goodness! And they ain’t pulling any punches, either. “What we’re talkin’ about here is your traditional 1980’s-style sitcom, shot on sets, super fast-paced, with a laughtrack, a cheeseball theme song, the whole ball of wax,” says director Jonathan Lewis. “The main difference is that it’s going to be so incredibly over-the-top and filthy that not a single network would touch it. We’re going to make a show EXACTLY the way we want to make it. And it’s going to blow your fucking mind.”
“There Goes Da Neighba’hood” will be available summer 2015.
Don’t be a lazy ass… follow the show’s progress over on the official “There Goes Da Neighba’hood” Facebook page!
