There’s Something in the Pilliga; Find Out What It Is!
Thanks in no small part to the gory shenanigans of one Mick Taylor from Wolf Creek, the exploration of the Australian Outback has gone from kangaroo-laden fun to an absolute nightmare trip to hell. Another film is looking to show you exactly why you should just stay home… mainly because There’s Something in the Pilliga!
A worldwide distribution deal for the feature film has been signed with US distributor Black Wolf Media. This is for all rights (DVD, online, and theatrical) excluding Australia and New Zealand, which will be looked after by Monster Pictures (DVD and online) and Local Legends Entertainment (theatrical).
There’s Something in the Pilliga is a creature feature horror film on the Pilliga Yowie in northern NSW, Australia. Brendan Byrne, Leoni Leaver, Rebecca Callander, Bob Clark, and Craig Hawley star. Dane Millerd directs.
Synopsis:
Dylan, a cameraman, is on a New Year’s sabbatical with his new friend Jay in the Australian Outback when they meet two girls at a local pub. The girls, Liz and Tammy, decide to continue to party with their new friends agreeing to join them on their expedition into the wilderness. Things take a turn for the worse when the quartet realize they are not alone out in the Pilliga Forest as one by one they are stalked by something far more sinister than any of them could ever have imagined.
