Ranger Danger Finds Something in the Forest!
Me? I’m a city boy through and through. Sure, there are dangers present in any metropolis, but usually you can see them coming. In the woods though… not so much! On tap right now is your first look at the crowd-funded horror comedy Ranger Danger.
Jaz Moore will direct the film, which stars Tamara Fernandez, Rachel Paulson, Steven Low, and Jason Wendt. The project is about halfway funded and still has lots of time for you to get in on the action and make it happen. For more information check out Ranger Danger on Kickstarter.
Ranger Danger is a short stylized horror/comedy that pays homage to slasher flicks, creature features, and everything in between! After an uneventful first week at his new job, naive Forest Ranger Johnny is ready for some valiant action. Unfortunately, his indifferent boss Charlie wants less to do with heroics and more to do with nursing a permanent hangover. Johnny is banished to smoke scanning duty and begins to notice odd things in the forest. But it isn’t until a raving Final Girl barrels into his cabin that it dawns on him: He’s working in a universe swarming with horror cliches. Everyone and everything has a part to play… whether they like it or not!
