Help Animate Night of the Living Dead
One good thing about George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead being in the public domain is that it allows all sorts of creative re-interpretations to be made of it. Granted the ones worth paying attention to are few and far between; for every 5 Night of the Living Dead 3D’s, we get something cool like NotLD: Reanimated.
Reanimated is a new way of making Romero’s classic tale come to life; artists are encouraged to create their own animated version of NotLD with the only restrictions being that the animation has to match the film’s original soundtrack, has to be in black and white, and has to be original artwork.
The resulting contributions will then be organized into a brand-new visual reimagining of Night of the Living Dead that should be, if nothing else, pretty interesting to watch. All the details including how to submit your contribution are right here; for an idea of what the finished project will look like, check out the sample reel below.
