Day & Date for F.E.A.R. 2 Download!
Lazy gamers rejoice! Warner Bros. just announced that it will be distributing F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin via digital download on the same day the game hits good old-fashioned brick and mortar stores!
Come February 10th, 2009, all you have to do is hit up IGN Entertainment’s Direct 2 Drive store and F.E.A.R. 2 will be yours; you won’t even have to put on your pants! Please note: The game does hit stores the same day, and if you’re a traditionalist who desires those wasteful “packages” games come in, we do recommend you make sure you have pants on before you set out to get it.
”F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is the sequel we’ve all been waiting for and we are fortunate to team with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution to deliver this highly anticipated, edgy thriller to fans of the series,” Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said in a press release. “With these new digital partnerships, players will have more options to decide how and when they want to experience the next bone chilling installment in this renowned series.”
The sequel follows a F.E.A.R. team who are on a routine mission when the city of Auburn is rocked by a supernatural explosion that is caused by Alma, the creepy half pint with tons of power. Things get ugly!
