Full Cast Joins Tim Burton in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children
Tim Burton has a handful of projects on his plate at the moment, including a live-action adaptation of Dumbo and a sequel to Beetlejuice. But first, he brings the 2011 novel Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children to the screen, and today the full cast has been revealed. Read on!
Asa Butterfield stars in the film as protagonist Jacob, alongside an impressive roster of talents including Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Green, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Ella Purnell, Chris O’Dowd, Kim Dickens, Judi Dench and Rupert Everett.
Production is currently under way and the film is set to bow March 4, 2016.
Synopsis:
The unforgettable, thrilling and haunting tale centers on 16-year-old Jacob, who follows clues that take him to a mysterious island, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores the abandoned bedrooms and hallways, he discovers that its former occupants were far more than peculiar; they possessed incredible powers. And they may still be alive.
