Stephen King and Son Joe Hill LOVE Crimson Peak
Stephen King and his son, Joe Hill, recently attended a special advance screening of Guillermo del Toro’s new film Crimson Peak, and they’ve weighed in with their verdicts. Hint: It’s frighteningly good!
Legendary Pictures’ Crimson Peak, a co-production with Universal Pictures, is a haunting Gothic horror story directed by the master of dark fairy tales, Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy series, Pacific Rim), written by del Toro and Matthew Robbins, and starring Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Hunnam, and Jim Beaver.
Was treated to a screening of Guillermo del Toro’s new movie, CRIMSON PEAK, this weekend. Gorgeous and just fucking terrifying.

CRIMSON PEAK electrified me in the same way Sam Rami’s EVIL DEAD electrified me when I saw it for the first time way back in the day.

Remember that list I tweeted the other day, the 13 most beautiful horror films. CRIMSON PEAK is the most beautiful of all.

CRIMSON PEAK is Del Toro’s blood-soaked AGE OF INNOCENCE, a gloriously sick waltz through Daphne Du Maurier territory.
