Stills from Mrs. Brumett’s Garden
We’re always happy to receive an update from indie filmmaker Patrick Rea as to what’s he’s been doing, and today is no exception. According to a press release Patrick recently sent over, production companies SenoReality and Free State Studios have just wrapped on a new short film titled “Mrs. Brumett’s Garden”. Writer/director Rea calls it a “Twilight Zone-esque [story] about an elderly woman who claims to be talking to fairies in her garden. The film seems innocent at first but has a dark edge to it.”
The short, which stars T-Max Graham and Shirley Wagner, is currently being edited and will be scored by horror composer Harry Manfedini. Hopefully, as we have done with Rea’s “Next Caller” and “Now That You’re Dead“, among others, Dread Central will be premiering “Mrs. Brumett’s Garden” once it’s finished. In the meantime check out the two production stills below, and keep it here for more as it comes.
