Underworld: Rise of the Lycans poster!The latest entry in the saga of vampires vs. werewolves, “>Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, is due out in theaters on January 23rd, so doesn’t it seem odd that there’s been so little publicity for it in the last few months? That ends now!

STYD got a look at the first poster for the prequel, which sees effects man Patrick Tatopoulos make the leap to directing. Just click on the teaser image of Billy Nighy looking all pissy to see the whole thing.

The new movie, I’m sure you’ll recall, is set hundreds of years before the first, detailing the start of the war between Lycans and Death Dealers. Rhona Mitra fills in the incredibly tight pants vacated by Kate Beckinsale, which is all right with me. STYD also has a batch of new stills from the film for you to dig upon so get clicking!
