Gremlins Revamp Feeds a Writer After Midnight
We’ve been talking about the possibility of a remake or a sequel to Gremlins for what feels like forever now, and today we’re officially one step closer to seeing it happen. Deadline is reporting that Warner Bros. has set Goosebumps scribe Carl Ellsworth to write Gremlins.
The memorable original black comedy was scripted by Christopher Columbus, who’ll produce this along with Steven Spielberg, an exec producer on the original.
No word yet on who’ll be in the director’s chair, but Columbus is rumored to be interested. Stay tuned, kids.
