On-Set Image Provides First Look at Rings
Filming is well under way on F. Javier Gutierrez’ Rings, which will be the third installment of the American franchise. The film is set 13 years after the remake of The Ring, and on tap today is your first look at the action. So read on!
The on-set image comes courtesy of The Times Herald, part of a story about Rings being filmed in Grantville, Georgia. Interestingly, “The Walking Dead” recently filmed in the very same city, so fans of the show can expect to see some familiar locations when Samara returns to the big screen.
In the meantime, look down yonder for your first look at star Alex Roe in Rings!
The sequel also stars Johnny Galecki as Gabriel, a handsome, pleasure-seeking professor who mentors and helps boyfriend and girlfriend duo Holt (Alex Roe) and Julia (Matilda Lutz). Scream 4‘s Aimee Teegarden rounds out the main cast.

Rings will hit theaters on November 13, 2015.
F. Javier Gutierrez is directing from a script written by Akiva Goldsman, David Loucka, and Jacob Aaron Estes.
Based on a Japanese cult success, the first U.S. film went on to gross $249 million at the worldwide box office. That was enough to justify a sequel, which didn’t match the first one’s B.O. power but still grossed $160 million worldwide.
