First Look at Estranged
On tap right now we have your first look at the new film from producer Steve Schneider (Paranormal Activity), which is entitled Estranged. The film will be having its premiere at the upcoming Newport Film Festival on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at 8:15pm in the Triangle Cinema.
Directed by Adam Levins, Estranged stars James Cosmo (“Game of Thrones,” “Sons of Anarchy,” Braveheart, Troy, Narnia, Trainspotting), Amy Manson (Atlantis, “Being Human,” Outcast), Simon Quarterman (HBO’s “Westworld,” The Devil Inside, Scorpion King 2), James Lance (Bronson, Marie Antoinette, The Look of Love, Bel Ami), Nora-Jane Noone (The Descent, The Magdalene Sisters, Doomsday), Craig Conway (The Descent, Doomsday), and Eileen Nicholas (Trainspotting).
Synopsis:
Due to a near-fatal accident that has left her incapacitated and depleted of her long-term memory, a temporarily wheelchair-bound woman returns home after being abroad for six years accompanied by her bohemian boyfriend, the apparent cause of the accident. Unable to remember her family or her own childhood, she sets out, with the help of her boyfriend, to find the reason for her leaving all those years ago and quickly discovers her relatives may not be as loving as she’d thought.
