Botched Director Suffers Dementamania

Dementamania illustration by John Higgins!While the title isn’t the most original in the world, Dementamania still has a nice ring to it. The boys over at Quiet Earth discovered a bit of info on the film the other day, and it sounds too weird to pass up.

Dementamania is about a successful software engineer who’s bitten by a mysterious bug one morning in his apartment. By the end of the day he’s stuck in a world of violent hallucinations that, if the illustration on the right (done by comic book artist John Higgins) is any indication, don’t fare well for his fellow office workers.

Written by newcomer Anis Shlewet, Ronin Pictures have brought in “>Botched (DVD review) director Kit Ryan to direct Dementamania, with shooting set to commence in February. Hopefully we’ll hear more soon so keep your eyeballs open!
