New Offspring Pics, Screening Update

default-featured-image

New Offspring pics!It seems to me that the guys over at ModernCine really know when they’re doing when it comes to getting films done. Their production on The Girl Next Door was very quick, as was the cinema vérité Home Movie. Just a few months ago we got the first word on their adaptation of Jack Ketchum’s “>Offspring; now the film is done and ready for its first screenings!

Producer/director Andrew van den Houten told Fangoria in a recent update that Offspring will be seeing the light of cinemas come the new year; ”Offspring will be screened for the first time to distributors simultaneously in the beginning of February at the Berlin Film Market, in New York City and LA.” he revealed, ”We’re very excited with how it has turned out, and are ecstatic that Jack’s novel is finally going to hit the silver screen! We love cannibals here at Modernciné, and this film definitely has plenty of them!”

What a coincidence, we love cannibals, too! Offspring is the story of a small town’s discovery of a clan of cannibals living near the shoreline on the East Coast. On your right you can see a slice from two new pics Fango has, as well, check out the rest at the link above!
