Universal Pushes New Monster Franchises Back a Year
We told you that Universal would be bringing all of its famous monsters together Avengers-style after releasing a series of reboots which began with Dracula Untold. Even the best laid plans can hit delays.
During CinemaCon Universal announced that the Alex Kurtzman-directed Mummy reboot will now hit theaters on March 24, 2017, instead of the originally planned 2016 release.
This also pushes back the third Universal Monster movie, which is yet to be announced, to March 30, 2018. More on these as they come.
