Empire scored the first stills from the upcoming mini-series The Enfield Haunting. The three-part drama stars Eleanor Worthington-Cox as well as Timothy Spall, Juliet Stevenson, and Matthew Macfadyen.
The miniseries was directed by Kristoffer Nyholm (“The Killing”) and will premiere this spring on Sky Living.
The series will be a dramatization of real events that are alleged to have taken place at a North London house in 1977. Spall will play Maurice Grosse, a rookie paranormal researcher. After a recent personal tragedy, he is drawn to the house on Green Street after disturbing reports of a desperate family terrorized by malevolent unseen forces.
The series is adapted from Guy Lyon Playfair’s book This House Is Haunted.
