Rated M for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language & Suggestive Themes

The Walking Dead saga continues in Episode 3: The Long Road Ahead as we once again step into the well-traveled shoes of Lee Everett. Lee is a man with a troubled past―who took on the task of taking care of a young girl named Clementine― during a zombie apocalypse. The next episode picks up where the last one left off―with the farm gone―the bandits start to make trouble for Lee and the survivors.

We find that Kenny and Lilly are still not getting along, and we have to deal with the fact that there is a thief in our midst. Players will have to look at the decisions that have been made, and must rethink rather they did what was morally right. The gameplay still uses the standard mechanics as the previous episodes, and we are faced with more problem solving mechanics to add to the mix. Much of the game remains the same with beautiful comic-style artwork and amazing voice work.

The voice work adds great depth to each character and adds to the emotional attachment the player forms with them. The replay value is still extremely high―since players will want to go back and retry past actions to see what effects they have. Episode 3: The Long Road Ahead is by far the most emotional of the series.

Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead has delivered an amazing journey into a action-packed and emotional story unlike any other game. Episode 3: The Long Road Ahead will make you rethink the decisions you have made―players will start to realize they no longer share common interests or goals with any of the other survivors. You realize that your main priority is protecting Clementine’s innocence―a goal that was somehow lost in the second episode. The Walking Dead still delivers the amazing gameplay you loved from the very first episode and is a must buy for any horror fan.
