Call Girl (2014)Starring Laurence R. Harvey, Tristan Risk

Directed by Jill Sixx Gevargizian

The directorial debut of Jill Sixx Gevargizian is a very short (under five-minute) romp featuring some beloved actors, the unmistakable Laurence R. Harvey of The Human Centipede 2: (Full Sequence) and the gorgeous and unique Tristan Risk from American Mary. The two appear in this very simple, but very effective short film that is sure to put a smile on your face.

Written by Eric Havens, Call Girl is presented as if it’s filmed via webcam, and we see Harvey’s unnamed character about to welcome Risk’s unnamed character into his apartment. Risk plays a prostitute and Harvey plays a John, but a John with an ulterior motive. Little do we know at the outset of the film, Little Miss Risk’s character has an ulterior motive of her own.

Risk and Harvey are both delightfully entertaining in this fun film. It’s got a little comedy, it offers up a bit of blood, Harvey is surprisingly compelling when he actually delivers lines (you’ll, of course, remember that he was silent in The Human Centipede 2), and Risk is sexy and effective in her role of the awkward prostitute.

Call Girl is a quick jab of a film that will give you both a chuckle and a chill nearly simultaneously. Its sub-five-minute runtime is perfect for what it is, a quick slice of horror.
