‘Bitch Ass’ Director Bill Posley Discusses Crafting His Iconic Black Killer [Watch]
Horror is chock full of iconic killers. We’ve got Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, the list goes on. But, aside from Tony Todd’s iconic Candyman, an overwhelming majority of these villains are white. Director Bill Posley set out to remedy that with his film Bitch Ass, which premiered at SXSW this year. The titular Bitch Ass is a vengeful, traumatized Black man who loves puzzles and torture. With vibes of Tales From The Hood and Saw, Posley creates something much-needed and unique with his feature film debut.
