Dark Corners Gains GroundIt’s been a long time since last we spoke about the new flick from Tom Shankland, director of The Children, entitled Dark Corners; but finally the flick is picking up some much needed momentum. Read on for details.

Variety reports that the long talked about flick has found its financing in Solar Pictures, who is producing the suspense-thriller with Peter Block (FEARnet), Andy Gould (Grindhouse) and John Penotti (Movie 43); Tim Williams exec produces. Tom Shankland will direct from a script by E.L. Katz and Tim Day.

Dark Corners revolves around Jess, a beautiful blind college girl who is tormented by a methodical killer who knows her well and therefore knows what terrifies her. He is motivated by sadistic revenge, but she turns her apparent weakness into a strength and fights back.
